I do find there to be a difference between réglisse and licorice. When I think of licorice, images of some type of chewy candy come to mind. There&#039;s a sweetness to licorice that I don&#039;t find in réglisse. I think of réglisse as being hard, small, intense, and not sweet. That&#039;s pretty subtle and I&#039;m sure it could be argued either way...
